Tom Daniel is most known for designing some of the most famous Monogram models of the late 60's and 70's, of which several were made directly or indirectly into Hot Wheels cars. One of our biggest hobbies is car model building, and some of our favorites are the Tom Daniel hot rods. We decided to collect all the Tom Daniel Redlines which is why we have this page. 
Above is one of the most famous Tom Daniel designs - the Red Baron. This is the first issue Redline. Later issues made the spike on the top of the helmet smaller and later omitted the iron cross on the side of the helmet.

Above is the great original Redline S'Cool bus. The Tom Daniel model of this is the one that got me into modeling as a kid. Tom worked at GM in the mid 60's, and designed the hood of the Chev truck - which he later also used for the S'Cool bus. We have not gotten on in a blister pack yet since they are very hard to find and very expensive, although we do have several variations of S'Cool busses as you can see below (Note: The first of the new series of Redline Club Car - see our RLC page - was the Tom Danials' Spring Break S'Cool bus).

Above is a Funny Money - Now we are not certain if Tom Daniel had anything to do with this one, but he did design a armored car hot rod model for Mongram called the Jinx Express (later made in Blue and called the Fast Buck), which looked very similar to the Funny Money. His had a big wing on the back and only one engine, but the Jinx Express and the Funny Money share the same concept and boddy shape.
